### Learning Experience

Teachers and students meet during their first trial lesson and continue booking regular lessons after. The classroom is a virtual one on one environment where each user can have two devices connected to use as two separate cameras. Other tools available include notes, a music notation notepad, an instrument overlay for guitar and piano, a metronome and more! Sheet music can also be uploaded and viewed together to learn and practice specific songs. All of these tools and features are available for students inbetween lessons in a dedicated practice area!

- **1-on-1 Lessons:** Our classroom features the greatest possible audio quality, and it has been specifically tailored to make learning music online as easy as possible. It includes built-in metronome, tone generator, visual instruments, sheet music integration, music notepad, messaging, and other interactive music learning tools.
- **Courses:** Each teacher creates their own courses to offer to students providing a multitude of opportunities for students to find the perfect fit. They can be found at https://tissimo.co/music-courses
- **Practice:** Our specialized practice area allows you to add, view and annotate your sheet music. Tune your instrument, practice with a metronome, save your presets, view your teacher’s notes, write your own notes, and even track your practice time from any device.

### How Pricing Works

Tissimo is an open marketplace and each teacher sets their own prices for their classes and this varies significantly. This enables students to find the right mix of value and cost that suits their needs.

### Typical Costs

Lessons range from $12.50 USD up to $100 or more, but with most lessons costing around $50 per hour.

### Payment Options

- All Major credit cards from all over the world are accepted.
- All lessons are subject to individual teacher policies, but generally speaking all are fully refundable for platform credit to be applied to other lessons without needing to reach out to support.
- Half off trial lessons are offered to all new students.

### Finding the Right Teacher

Students can search for teachers direclty using keywords like name, genre, and instrument. Filters can also be applied for skill levels, instruments, ratings, lesson durations, etc.

## Technology & Platform

### What You Need

- **Device Requirements:** A modern computer with working webcam, microphone, and speakers with at least 16GB of RAM. 
- **Internet Connection:** 100Mbps+ is recommend for the best quality, but slower connections down to 25Mbps should be fine.
- **Software:** Need a modern web browser and computer with video and audio permisions enabled. We recommend using the latest version of Chrome.
